have a happy happy weekend!

HIGH FIVE! It's the weekend! Yay. I thoroughly enjoy the week...but there's something extra-special and exciting about the weekend.

This week has been a good one. I've edited lots of photos. Husband has designed a lot of design stuff. We got some super-awesome vintage finds at a thrift store. Making progress with my new business! Last night we met two new friends at Starbucks and had great conversation about life and God {and drank some caramel apple spice...mmmmm...a fave.}

For the weekend husband and I are heading to wild and wonderful West Virginia to visit my sweet grandparents. I'm uber psyched because I haven't been to their house in a few years...there's something special about going to grandma's! My family is also going this weekend, so I'll get to see them too...woo hoo! I'm going to smother them with lots of hugs. :)

What are your plans this weekend? Whatever they are, I hope you have a very lovely one!

  2. That is a great image you found up there. HA! Found your blog through twitter, random, and then I figured out you're in Cleveland which is my husband's hometown which we frequent. I love your blog!

  3. The high-five made me laugh, thank you! I hope you all have a happy and safe weekend. :-)

    I have two random not-related-to-this-post questions. How do you put your name on your photos? How do you do the faint black circular frame thing? That is all. :-)

  4. @Lauren: I definitely missed you too!

    @Kristine: Cleveland is great, but I'm loving Nashville too. :)

    @Torres1287: To answer your questions, I do both in Photoshop and Lightroom. I normally add a vignette (the black circular frame) in Lightroom, and I add my watermark (text) in Photoshop. If you'd like more detailed instructions there are many tutorials online. If you search on Google, you should find many. Hope that helps some! :)
