these are a few of my favorite things {when it's raining}

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things

• wearing my polka dotted rain boots and splashing in the puddles
• kissing my husby underneath our extra large family umbrella
• curling up with my red fuzzy blanket and a good book
• writing a letter to a friend
• taking a nap while listening to the raindrops play music on my window pane
• watching a classic movie, such as: my fair lady, sabrina, or the sound of music
• drinking a hot cup of coffee, hot chocolate, or tea
• the smell of fresh rain
  
• laughing at how prissy max gets when it's wet outside
