here's to not being normal.

Singing loudly in the shower when no one is home, corny jokes, goofy voices, dancing like a dork, secret love of Sci-Fi (Star Trek, Star Wars, and LOTR all the way, baby), my talent of folding my tongue into a three leaf clover shape, talking to my dog like he can understand me (I swear sometimes he can), talking (and sometimes walking) in my sleep, my unnatural fear of opossums, my mad Monopoly skillz (which is why husband and I can no longer play together..*cough cough*), my preference for music that is at least 50 years old as opposed to anything modern (Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole--please-and-thank-you-very-much.)

Why be normal when you can be yourself?

What are the things (the dorky, geeky, and just plain strange included) that make you...well, you?

  1. 1. I love to read maps like some people read books. 2. I love to dig up details about ancestors and search for their headstones in cemeteries. (Please don't confuse what I am saying. I did NOT say that I love to dig up ancestors... just details about them.) 3. I could sit for hours watching the NASA channel. (Now, I really don't have time to watch it for hours, but if I did have the time, I could do it.) 4. I love to collect chicken jokes. 5. I can't tell a joke. (Well, actually I CAN, but the sound that fills the room afterwards is the chirping of crickets... not laughter.)

  2. Um, Star Wars rules all the way...and I'm a Joss Whedon girl, to the bone.

    Hell yeah!

  3. I have an abnormal obsession with buildings. I'm constantly staring at them, studying, remembering details.
