jonathan's senior guitar recital!

Jonathan is winding down his studies at Lee in preparation to graduate, and we are so-very-excited! His last major thing to complete is his senior recital...which is what he's been working toward these past few years. It's going to be really awesome!

For those of you who live nearby, if you're interested in attending it will take place:

Friday, July 17th @ 8pm
Lee University
Squires Recital Hall

Come prepared to hear some really cool classical guitar music. :)

I took lots of photos of husband last night and the image above is the one we decided on for the poster. I will hopefully finish editing the rest of the images sometime soon and share some of those with you all as well!

I'm so proud of my husband... :)

  2. love that poster! you guys make a great team, you with the photographing, him with the designing... I wish I was half as talented as both of you! :) I am thinking of taking photo and design classes but alas, I am not sure if I have the time!

anyhoo, I love classical guitar. I was a music major for a while and during our weekly student concerts I loved hearing the classical guitar. it just amazed me. I recently interviewed a classical guitarist too and wrote a nice story for the paper...

ok, enough rambling! but good luck to your hubby at the recital!

  3. We're SO excited about coming! When I used to teach at the Academy, the guitar instructor there was very accomplished at classical guitar and he would leave his door open a few inches when he practiced. I loved listening to him practice! Wow! It's such a beautiful instrument. I'm so very proud of Jonathan (and you Tiffany for being so supportive of him). I know how many long hours and time apart you guys have both put towards this goal. Love you!

  5. Let your students have time to get the feel of the instrument when possible, if the instrument is not their regular lesson instrument.https://medium.com/@recitalqueen

  7. In order to hear this clearly for yourself, I recommend turning off any high gain/distortion settings on your amp. By using a clean setting, you will be able to hear the subtleties as you combine the bass string with the other strings of the guitar.acoustic guitar
