be happy for this moment.

I found this lovely quote over at Ez's blog, Creature Comforts, and it is so inspiring to me. I am such a planner. I love to plan my day, my week, my month, my year, my life. When I was a little girl my dad told me that I could be his administrative assistant {at the age of 8.} I would make my own calendars using crayons and construction paper. I would ask my mom what the plan for the day was, and I'd write it in an itemized list. It was fun to me...and it still is.

I'm not saying that being a planner is bad. It comes in handy quite often, but sometimes my desire to plan outweighs my ability to enjoy the moment I'm in. Oh, I definitely enjoy life...most definitely. But this quote inspires me to enjoy each moment more fully. To realize that the moment I'm in right now is my life. And to be happy in it. :)

  2. I am so with you on this. I know that God has been telling me over and over, just trust and let me take care of the rest instead of worrying about plans of the future, but I am a terrible listener!

    you inspired me too!
