thankful for him.

husband, thank you...

for taking me on dates.
for refilling our drink so I don't miss any of the movie.
for letting me eat the last sour gummy worm.
for surprising me by doing the dishes.
for being so incredibly enjoyable to look at.
for calming me down when I'm stressed.
for bringing me a glass of water when I'm already in bed.
for your hugs.
for laughing at my corny attempts at a joke.
for being a great leader.
for choosing me to share your life with.

I'm so incredibly thankful for you.

Love,
Tiffany

i'm thankful for...

I'm thankful for...

My Lord and Savior.
And for His many blessings.
Without Him, I am nothing.

I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart;
I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.

Smiling.
It makes me happy.

Husband.
My sweet, wonderful, Jonathan...
He makes life so much fun, and is such a blessing to me every day.
I love him more than words can describe.

Friends.
hehe.

Nashville.
Our new home.
For this place, for the people, new friends we are making.
For our future here together.

Max.
He brings lots of joy to our hearts.
And he lets us dress him up in silly costumes.

Our Family.
We're so thankful for all of them.
They're great blessings to us.

The opportunity to do something I love.

For Inspiration.

thankful thursday: hot chocolate, baking, grandparents, working phone, hobby lobby.

I haven't done one of these in a while. So, here's a Thankful Thursday for you.

This is what I'm thankful for this week:

Hot Chocolate. Or, more specifically...hot chocolate with vanilla creamer in my favorite mug! This is such a comforting treat on a chilly day. We bought this mug when husband and I went to Disney World during our honeymoon. It's special.

Baking. Especially baking cupcakes. I don't know what it is about cupcakes...but I have SO much fun trying different recipes for them! This week I made jam cupcakes with chocolate frosting for Jonathan's dad's birthday. {and I couldn't pick just one picture, because I think cupcakes are so pretty!}

My grandparents. {a.k.a. Mawmaw and Pawpaw} We went and visited them in West Virginia this past weekend, and it was really great to see them! There's something special about going to grandma's house.

My working phone. I'm thankful that at the moment it's working, and hoping that it'll continue to do so! :)

Hobby Lobby. We went there last night to buy supplies to make some handmade Christmas gifts {which I'm super excited about!} And I was just overwhelmed by all the creative feelings that place evokes. I love it!

What are you thankful for this week? :)

thankful thursday: homemade soup, gracious husbands, guacamole, second shooting, & rainboots.

{image via artzink}

I've been slacking in the area of taking pictures of things I'm thankful for this week. So, this Thankful Thursday post is photo-less.

This week I am thankful for:

Homemade Soup. It really is the most comforting thing on a brisk autumn day. Love it.

Gracious Husbands.
Mine, in particular. I woke up in a bad mood this morning, and my sweet husband had to put up with me getting up on the wrong side of the bed. But he is so gracious and must love me an awful lot.

Guacamole. I made some this afternoon, and we're going to eat it with our tacos tonight for dinner. I'm excited.

Getting to second shoot at a wedding this weekend. That's right, I get to be second shooter for a Nashville photographer this weekend, and I am more than excited! I'm also nervous, since this is the first wedding I've ever shot...time to stretch myself and learn learn learn. Wooooooo!

Rain boots. They make rainy days fun for me.

What are you thankful for this week?

thankful thursday: emptying my inbox, fresh basil, date night, engaged friends.

Today is Thursday, and you know what that means!

This week, I am thankful for:

Emptying my Inbox. It doesn't happen often, but when I've sorted through and replied to all of my emails, it makes me feel like one productive happy girl!

Fresh Basil. I love love love basil. The smell of it. The taste of it. The way it looks sprinkled atop pizza. Next year I would love to grow my own garden, and it would be amazing to include some fresh herbs such as basil in it. Yum.

Date Night. Tonight is date night for husband and me! Yay! Date nights are a favorite. Even if all we do is stay at home and cook dinner together, having a night set aside for just us is oh-so-important and oh-so-perfect. Getting to spend quality time with my best friend and love of my life is my fave!

Engaged Friends. I already mentioned it once today, but I'll say it again (because I am just THAT excited about it): Two of our best friends are engaged and we are so happy for them!

thankful thursday: lunch, super target, the office, and husband.

Last week was the first week of a new series we're doing around here called Thankful Thursdays.

This week I am thankful for:

Lunch. Yes, I am often thankful for food. :) There's just something so refreshing about lunchtime. I make myself a sandwich, take a break from working, and relax. It's a nice way to break up my day and take some time to enjoy it, and not just rush through the day without looking back. Plus, I love me a good sammich. Nom nom nom.

Super Target. I think this one speaks for itself, really. I am thankful for Target, but SUPER Target? Well, Super Target is extra super...obviously. Plus, they sell soft pretzels...and when your husband buys you a hot pretzel at said Super Target, well, it makes your shopping experience even that much more enjoyable. (there I go again with being thankful for food.)

The Office. Michael Scott is just too funny, and I love to laugh. The Office premieres tonight, and I am more than excited!

Husband. Because, like Mary Poppins, he is practically perfect in every way. For examples of his super-awesomeness, click here.

thankful thursday: mail, raspberries, hair products, and parents.

One of the most important things in life is to be thankful. Goodness, we even dedicate a national holiday to giving thanks...so obviously it's important! :)

In all seriousness, the times where I feel the most joy in my life is when I am truly thankful. Noticing the things in my life that I appreciate: the big, the little, the simple, the silly. It is oh-so-good to give thanks for these!

So, I have decided to have what we're gonna call Thankful Thursdays. I'm going to let you know a few things that I'm especially thankful for this week, and in the comment section you can feel free to share what you're thankful for.

This week I am thankful for:

Snail Mail.
If you know me at all, you know that I LOVE to receive things in the mail. And, if you've been following me on Twitter you'll know that I was anxiously awaiting something in the mail all week (and it finally arrived!) Living away from friends and family now makes me even more thankful for snail mail. So, if you want to shoot me a letter or something...it would make me the happiest person ever! :)

Raspberries. Every morning I eat a bowl of yogurt with fresh berries. And I decided this week that raspberries are my favorite.

Thelonious Maximus. He has been my buddy while husband has been away at work. He stays by my side every minute of every day. His puppy love gives me the warm fuzzies.

New Hair Products. I don't know what it is exactly, but I get soooooo excited when it comes time to buy new Shampoo and Conditioner. I hardly ever buy the same thing twice...I just love trying new brands and types.

My Parents. Besides the fact that they, well, brought me into this world...I am oh-so-thankful for the wonderful example that they have set for my life. Ever since I was itty bitty to even now, my parents always get up at the crack of dawn, have coffee, and read their Bibles and pray together. It's things like this that have set such a wonderful example for me and my marriage. They always showed me the importance of spending quality time together, and putting God first in their relationship. I may be slightly biased, but I honestly think I have the best parents in the world. :)
