our two year wedding anniversary celebration {in polaroids.}

Tuesday was Jonathan and my two year wedding anniversary. To celebrate, we both took the day off from work to spend tons of time together.

To start things off, we went to Cafe Roma for lunch...
it's absolutely amazing!

Their tomato basil soup is
the
best
tomato
soup
EVER!

We both got yummy sandwiches

and sweet potato fries with very yummy dipping sauce!

As a gift, husband made me a little coupo for a free website designed by him!

Yes, that's right...a little "coupo" not "coupon."
Jonathan used my stamps to make the coupo and ran out of room.
It made me laugh really hard. :)

After lunch we went shopping for things for our trip to the BEACH!
I love shopping with this guy.
We bought some of the coolest beach chairs ever.

Of course we had to take a break from shopping to get some yummy coffee.

Coffee, coffee, coffee, we love coffee.

For dinner Jonathan surprised me by taking me to Hennen's.
It's an amazing steak and seafood restaurant in downtown Chattanooga.

Look at that face...I've had the privilege of being married to that face for
the past two years. SCORE!

At the end of the evening, Jonathan and I went back home and sat down on the couch with our sparkling raspberry apple cider...and watched our wedding video! That's right, our wedding video. Jonathan stayed up super late a few nights this week to surprise me with putting together our wedding video footage. It made me cry and be so thankful for my thoughtful, sweet man whom I love very much.

It was a very fun and memorable anniversary. Thanks for the day of surprises, husband! And thanks to all of our friends and family who wished us a happy anniversary. You all are the best.

seriously proud of my husband {plus, a video from his guitar recital.}

I don't know if I've mentioned this enough...but I am SO proud of my husband who is graduating this Saturday. He really has accomplished so much, and juggled many different responsibilities in the midst of it all.

I am proud of him. :)

Also, as I mentioned before, Jonathan recently had his senior guitar recital. I know many of you couldn't make it, so here is a little clip of his wonderful performance:

my guest post at ministry so fab.

Hello friends!

First of all, I wanted to let you all know that we had an amazing anniversary yesterday. Thanks to everyone for the Happy Anniversary wishes...it was a happy one indeed. :) I took some pictures of our adventure, and hope to share them with you soon.

Also, I wanted to share with you the guest post that I wrote for one of my dear friends, Amy Beth, at her absolutely amazing blog--Ministry So Fabulous! Amy Beth is an amazing writer, and I love reading her updates on what it's really like to be in ministry...the good, the bad, the ugly. Go check out her blog. You will not be disappointed.

The guest post I wrote for Ministry So Fab is a tutorial on how I made
Jonathan's photo strip graduation invitations.

today, we celebrate two years of marriage.

**disclaimer** I apologize if this post is overly sweet and sentimental...but I just can't help myself. :)

Today, Jonathan & I celebrate the two year anniversary of the beginning of our married life together. I cannot believe that it has been two years already...I feel as though it was just yesterday that I had butterflies while walking down the aisle to this handsome man.

July 28th, 2007

We were so blessed to have all of our friends and family there
to celebrate the beginning of this new chapter in our lives.
{I love this picture below of me and my mom.}

My little sister Moriah was our flower girl.

This was our first kiss ever. SO worth the wait. :)

We had such a great wedding party
made up of our wonderful friends {and family.}

The past two years have, without a doubt, been the best two years of my life. There's nothing like spending every day with my best friend and the love of my life...getting to wake up next to him every morning. I have learned so much about myself and about life through our marriage. I have grown in more ways than I ever thought was possible. It has been such a blessing having such a wonderful husband to experience all of life with.

Thank you, husband...for everything. I am thoroughly looking forward to spending every day of the rest of our lives together. I love you.

this is one busy, exciting week.

This is one busy/exciting week we have ahead of us...

I'm trying to wrap up a lot of things at my day job before we go on vacation next week {woo hoo!} Also, trying to finish a bunch of my own photo projects before vacay. I want to get people their pictures before we head to the beach.

Jonathan is busy finishing up some things at school before he graduates and walks away with his diploma on Saturday! We are very excited {as is shown in the photo below.}

With Jonathan graduating, there is the chance of some big changes for us coming up very soon for this Zajas family. All of this is exciting, nerve wracking, bittersweet, and crazy-awesome. I can't wait to see what God has in store for us during this next chapter in our lives!

Also, tomorrow we celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary! Ah, I love celebrating little and big milestones in our life together. God has been so good to us in these two years, I am completely blown away.

In the midst of all the exciting craziness, it calms us to think that in exactly one week we will be here:

Enjoying the sand, sunshine, sea breeze, relaxation, and each other's company. Perfection.

dancin' down the aisle.

Next Tuesday {the 28th!) Jonathan and I will celebrate our two year wedding anniversary. I can't believe that it's been two years already...in many ways it seems to have flown by, but at the same time it's hard to remember the days when I didn't wake up beside my best friend every morning.

It's been the best two years of my life.

Speaking of marriage, and weddings...

My friend Carly showed me this video the other day, and I thought it was just too great...I had to show it to you!

office romance.

One of the many advantages to both Jonathan and I working from home is that we get to work in the same room...together. Even though we're busy with our daily tasks, it's nice to be able to glance across my desk and get to see my husband. We also take our lunch breaks together, which is wonderful.

We have our very own office romance.

Speaking of office romances, I saw this adorable video the other day via A Cup of Jo and I absolutely must share it with you:

my handsome and talented husband.

Tonight is Jonathan's Senior Recital, and I am so-very-excited! I am very proud of husband and all that he has accomplished...while working full time...while volunteering at church...while being an amazing husband. In my eyes, he is capable to doing anything and everything with excellence.

Here are some photos I took of him last week in a nearby field, with his classical guitar, and an amazing sunset:

**swoon** {nothing like being serenaded with classical and
spanish guitar music by this handsome man.}

Jonathan's "wolverine nails" for playing classical guitar...
and for scratching my back. :)

And if you're in the area you should definitely come see his recital tonight. For more info, click here.

harry potter.

I have been slacking in my blogging lately. Things have been crazy busy around here, but a good kind of crazy busy. So I'm sure you understand.

In the meantime, I have really been looking forward to seeing Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. If the movie premiered on the weekend, we definitely would have gone to the midnight showing. BUT, we are getting kind of old to go to a midnight showing during the work week. I need my sleep.

We are thoroughly looking forward to seeing it this weekend though. I've been trying to convince Jonathan that we need to dress up as Harry and Hermoine for it, but he's not too keen on the idea. :)

In honor of the premiere, I must once again post this hilarious video. Just because it makes me laugh so very hard.

jonathan's senior guitar recital!

Jonathan is winding down his studies at Lee in preparation to graduate, and we are so-very-excited! His last major thing to complete is his senior recital...which is what he's been working toward these past few years. It's going to be really awesome!

For those of you who live nearby, if you're interested in attending it will take place:

Friday, July 17th @ 8pm
Lee University
Squires Recital Hall

Come prepared to hear some really cool classical guitar music. :)

{our adorable niece} Katherine Emilyne Pyatt's 3 month photo shoot

A couple of weekends ago Jonathan I got to go to Murfreesboro to visit his family. While there, I got to take a bunch of photos of our precious niece Kate. I can't believe that she is three months already! It seems like she was just born yesterday.

I think she's just the cutest little niece ever. :) Here are some of my favorite images from her shoot:

{all images by me.}

I also took a bunch of family photos with Kate and her mommy and daddy...but I'm still working on those. :)
